Gen RabtenGen Rabten is the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism for New Zealand and Australia.  He is known for his clear and powerful presentation of Buddha's teachings and his ability to touch our hearts with his insights into how these teachings can transform our lives.

On this day course Gen Rabten will explain the beautiful and profound meditations contained within one of Buddhism's best loved teachings, Eight Verses of Training the Mind. The timeless wisdom contained within these verses is based on the advice of eighth century Buddhist monk Geshe Langri Tangpa. Through understanding these verses we can learn how to deepen our love and compassion and make our modern lives truly meaningful.

This is a very special day course, relevant to everyone, and will be held in the peaceful and relaxing environment of   “The Barn”,  Cracroft Guide Centre,          151 Cashmere Road, Christchurch.
