Resident Teacher

Buddhist nun Kelsang Luma is the Resident Teacher of Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre in Christchurch, and is Venerable Geshe-la's representative in the South Island of New Zealand.  Kelsang Luma gives clear and practical teachings, sharing her deep understanding of the Buddhist path.  Through her teachings and example she shows us how we can easily integrate Buddha's wisdom into our modern lives.

Kelsang Luma teaches General Program classes at the Centre in Lower Cashmere , in Rangiora and in Ashburton. 

On Sunday mornings she teaches the Meditations for a Peaceful Mind class and on Sunday afternoons she teaches Foundation Program, a more in-depth study program.

Throughout the year Kelsang Luma teaches a program of day courses and retreats on various Buddhist topics.
